Creative Voyagers: 3D Art & Sculpture
Explore the world of three-dimensional art in 3D Art & Sculpture! Designed for ages 8–12, this class invites young artists to think beyond the flat page as they build, shape, and construct expressive sculptural artwork.
Students will work with a wide variety of materials including clay, paper mâché, wire, cardboard, and found objects. Through hands-on experimentation, kids learn how materials behave, how structures are built, and how ideas take form in 3D space.
A dedicated portion of this series is spent working with real, kiln-fired clay. Students will learn foundational handbuilding techniques such as pinch, coil, and slab construction, creating functional and sculptural ceramic pieces that are fired and finished in the studio.
Lessons balance creativity with foundational sculpture skills, encouraging problem- solving, planning, and imagination. Projects are open-ended, allowing students to develop their own ideas while learning techniques that support stronger, more thoughtful designs.
Weekly Art Class
Classes meet once a week and provide extended time for building, experimenting,
and developing detailed sculptural projects.
When: Mondays, 6:15–7:30 PM

Session 1: February 16 – March 23
Session 2: March 30 – May 11
No class during Spring Break (April 6–10)
Enrollment Options:
This class runs in 6-week sessions. Families may enroll for one session at a time or
continue across multiple sessions to deepen skills and explore more advanced projects.
Students are also welcome to join at any time, pending availability. Please email us if you are interested in a different start date or have special scheduling needs.

Please do not attend class if your child or anyone in your family has been diagonosed with Covid-19 within 7 days of the class.
With ever-changing safety standards regarding COVID-19, we will be implementing the most up to date safety protocols, and will update those enrolled if any changes occur

ART CLASS POLICIES
We are a drop-off studio for all kids 4+. Parents may accompany child or wait in adjourning waiting room, if desired.
LOW STAFF:STUDENT RATIO Each child is supported & challenged as we strive to maintain a ratio of 1:8.
CANCELLATION POLICY
Let us know at the beginning of the month about any dates that child will be absent and we will work with you with options.
Make-up classes are offered if you give two-day advance notice of non-attentance.
MAKEUP CLASSES ARE NOT AVAILABLE FOR NO SHOWS.*
*Exception in the case of sickness. If your child is sick, please DO NOT come to class. You will be offered a makeup time for any classes missed because of sickness.
