Adventures in Art
Join us for a hands-on, creativity-packed art class where kids explore many kinds of art in Adventures in Art! Designed for ages 5–9, this class invites young artists to experiment, imagine, and create in a fun and supportive studio environment.
Each week, students dive into new art concepts while exploring both 2D and 3D techniques. Through drawing, painting, and sculpting, children work with a wide range of materials including paint, markers, pencils, pastels, clay, and exciting mixed media such as papers, textures, and natural objects.
Lessons are designed to build foundational art skills while encouraging creativity and self-expression. Students learn about color theory, composition, texture, and form, all while creating unique, open-ended projects they can truly call their own.
Weekly Art Class
Classes meet once a week and balance structured skill-building with imaginative
art exploration.
When: Mondays, 3:45–4:45 PM
Session Dates:
Session 1 (6 weeks): Feb 16 – Mar 23
Session 2 (6 weeks): Mar 30 – May 11
No class during Spring Break (April 6–10)
Enrollment Options:
This class runs from February 16 – May 11. Families may enroll
for the full 12-week semester or choose the first or second 6-week session.
Students are also welcome to join at any time, pending availability. Please email us if you are interested in a different start date or have special scheduling needs.
Please note: If you enroll in the first 6-week session, your spot is not automatically reserved for the second session. We recommend registering early to secure your place.

With ever-changing safety standards regarding COVID-19, we will be implementing the most up to date safety protocols, and will update those enrolled if any changes occur
CAPACITY: Max 8 kids.
ART CLASS POLICIES
We are a drop-off studio for all kids 4+. Parents may accompany child or wait in adjourning waiting room, if desired.
LOW STAFF:STUDENT RATIO Each child is supported & challenged as we strive to maintain a ratio of 1:8.
CANCELLATION POLICY
All cancellations made more than 30 days prior to art class start date may receive a full refund. If you drop out of art classes mid-session, you may receive a partial refund for any classes after the 30 days. So you may choose to remain in the classes for first 30 days or you may choose to be out the money for those art classes and then receive a refund for all remaining classes.
Providing availability, you may transfer to another weekly art class at any time.
If a class does not reach a minimum of 4 students who sign up prior to 15 days of art start, Julie Dugger may choose to issue a FULL REFUND or you may elect to transfer to another class.
Let us know at the beginning of the month about any dates that child will be absent and we will work with you with options.
Make-up classes are offered if you give two-day advance notice of non-attentance.
MAKEUP CLASSES ARE NOT AVAILABLE FOR NO SHOWS.*
*Exception in the case of sickness. If your child is sick, please DO NOT come to class. You will be offered a makeup time for any classes missed because of sickness.
