Welcome to the realm of dreams — the world of all things SUGAR!
In Sugar Plum, campers step into a candy-colored creative universe of sweet treats, sparkle, imagination, and all things delightful.
Throughout the week, campers will explore a variety of art forms, including clay, sculpture, painting, and mixed media, all themed around desserts, candy, and whimsical baked creations.
Each day, campers will also prepare and decorate real edible treats to enjoy or take home. From decorating cupcakes and creating summer graham cracker candy houses to making no-bake sweets, kids will dive into treat-making alongside their art projects. Campers will even have the chance to assemble their own real sugar plums. By the end of the week, each child takes home a small box of handmade candies - adding a delicious, memorable layer to the creative experience.
Sugar Plum is about everything sweet and lovely - and this creative celebration is no exception.
*Please note any allergies on your registration form. We are happy to offer treat alternatives when possible. We can also offer non-edible craft alternatives or send edible creations home when needed. This camp included, we endevour to keep the studio peanut-free. However, we cannot guarentee trace elements in food items. Because our studio is a shared space, we cannot guarantee that campers will not encounter food items during camp. Families are ultimately responsible for their child’s dietary needs.*

ART CAMP POLICIES

Drop-Off Program: Lionardo Art Camp is a drop-off program for children ages 3 and up. Parents or caregivers of younger campers are welcome to wait in the front waiting area if preferred.
Small Group Environment: Camps are intentionally kept small, with a maximum of 16 campers and at least two teachers present. Our typical student-to-teacher ratio is 1:8, allowing for personalized support and a positive, engaging environment.
HEATH AND WELLNESS POLICY
We prioritize the health and well-being of our campers, families, and staff.
If your child is feeling unwell, has a fever, vomiting, or other contagious symptoms, please keep them home and notify us as soon as possible. Campers should be symptom-free for at least 24 hours before returning.
We follow standard cleaning and hygiene practices and will communicate with enrolled families if any health-related updates or precautions are needed during the session.
FOOD AND ALLERGY POLICY
Lionardo Art Studio is a nut-free studio.
Campers should bring a snack or lunch (for full-day campers), but no peanuts or tree nuts are permitted. This includes nut butters, nut milks, and products containing nuts such as Nutella.
Please list all allergies and dietary concerns on your registration form. While we do our best to accommodate needs, parents and guardians are ultimately responsible for their child’s dietary choices.
We require all children who are prescribed an epi-pen, inhaler, diabetic monitor or other medical device carry it with them at all times while on the premises. Parents and guardians assume full responsibility for their child's allergies and other medical conditions.
CANCELLATION, REFUND, & TRANSFER POLICY
Payment & Deposit: Full payment is required at the time of enrollment and includes a $25 nonrefundable deposit.
Refund Policy: Refunds are available until 30 days before the camp start date or June 8 (whichever comes first). Approved refunds will be issued minus the $25 nonrefundable deposit.
After this date, refunds are not available.
Why refunds are limited after June 8: Once summer camps begin, late withdrawals make it very difficult to fill an open spot. By that time, supplies have been purchased, materials prepared, and teaching staff scheduled based on enrollment. Your registration helps us hold and prepare your child’s spot, allowing us to offer small group sizes and a high-quality experience for all campers.
While refunds are not available after this date, we do allow spot transfers, where families are welcome to transfer a camp spot to a friend if plans change.
Transfers & Credits: If space allows, transfers to another camp may be requested up to 7 days before the camp start date.
Low Enrollment: If a camp does not meet the minimum enrollment of 4 campers at least 15 days before the start date, Lionardo Art Studio reserves the right to cancel the camp. In this case, families may choose a full refund or a transfer to another available camp.
