Summer art class for tweens and teens!

Young artists will explore creative mixed media techniques with paint, textiles, fabric, dye, and screen prints. They will create 4-5 large finished art peices both abstract art or inspired by various subject matter such as landscape, still life, animal interest, fantasy, or combination of ideas.
Artists will learn how to uses textiles, such as fabric and yarn and mix it with paint or dye onto their mixed media picture. Each artist will also learn how to hand-dye their fabric using various techniques, and use screen printing to print their own designs onto fabric. They will learn how to use different mediums in an unconventional matter, adding a 3D element to their art work.
These one-of-a-kind finished art pieces will be sure to impress!
Special art camp, immerse in art for three hours each day! Complete 4-5 completed art pieces.

All kids and parents are encouraged to wear a mask at art classes.
With ever-changing safety standards regarding COVID-19, we will be implementing the most up to date safety protocols, and will update those enrolled if any changes occur

ART CLASS POLICIES
We are a drop-off studio for all kids 4+. Parents may accompany child or wait in adjourning waiting room, if desired.
LOW STAFF:STUDENT RATIO Each child is supported & challenged as we strive to maintain a ratio of 1:8.
CANCELLATION POLICY
Payment is due at the beginning of each month.
Let us know at the beginning of the month about any dates that child will be absent and we will work with you with options.
Make-up classes are offered if you give two-day advance notice of non-attentance.
MAKEUP CLASSES ARE NOT AVAILABLE FOR NO SHOWS.*
*Exception in the case of sickness. If your child is sick, please DO NOT come to class. You will be offered a makeup time for any classes missed because of sickness.
